Surrounded by the belt of the Apuseni Mountains, Beiuș is located in the territory generically called Ţara Beiușului, with centuries-old historical resonance. Ancient traces of habitation date back to the Paleolithic and fortified Neolithic settlements have been found throughout the Beiuş area.
Over the centuries, through the presence of so many cultures and cults that interacted in a prolific and constructive way, educational establishments have developed that have transformed the city into a leader of Transylvanian and national culture.
Beiuș is a key starting point from the west for the Apuseni Natural Park - one of the most important karst areas in southeastern Europe, also called the Transylvanian lungs; the tourist areas of the Apuseni Mountains (Padiș Karst Plateau - Ponor fortresses, Ursilor Cave - Chișcau, Farcu crystal cave, Meziad cave, Stâna de Vale and Vârtop - Arieșeni mountain resorts, wooden churches and folk crafts).
Beyus thermal water has therapeutic properties, recognized by the Ministry of Health through the National Institute of Balneology, Physiotherapy and Physical Recovery in Bucharest. Scientific, clinical and dermatological results
The concentrations of boron and manganese present in the product accelerate the speed of healing of damaged skin by 20% in the first 24 hours (Stimulatory Effect of Boron and Manganese Salts on Keratinocyte Migration, Acta Derm Venereol 2004; 84: 191–194).
According to the clinical study conducted by Eurofins Scientific, at the end of the in vivo clinical trial period, in human subjects, aged between 18 and 60 years, female and male, with a phototype (Fitzpatrick): II, III or IV, with sensitive facial skin, regular or occasional users of facial cosmetics, the results of the evaluation of the quality and cosmetic effectiveness of the product reveals:
Measurement of bacterial activity for acne reveals a 35% reduction 10 minutes after application of the product.
Method: Qualitative evaluation of Propionibacterium acnes on the skin surface performed by skin fluorescence measurements with Visiopor® PP34N: · Before applying the products (D1/T0) then after 10 minutes from the product; application (D1/T10min); on the face (forehead).
The single application of the product generated a significant 35% increase in the level of hydration on the upper layers of the skin
Method: Evaluation of the hydration effect by measuring the level of hydration (Corneometer® CM 825 from Courage + Khazaka): before applying the product (D1 / T0), 1 hour after application of the product (D1 / T1h), on both areas - the treated area and the control area.
